EFE CE ELE // CAZZIDA DOT
Cazzida Dot and EFE CE ELE are the two musical projects of Colombian transmedia artist, music producer, and educator Feli Cabrera López, based in Barcelona. Her work navigates the intersections between dance and listening within the spectrum of electronic music, driven by a passion for crafting complex sonic textures and immersive soundscapes often described as cinematic. Drawing inspiration from the raw intensity of industrial music, post-punk, and coldwave, as well as the rhythmic richness of Colombia’s Pacific and Andean traditions, her compositions blend cultural roots with contemporary experimentation.
EFE CE ELE stands as her most avant-garde project, merging ambient, techno, and electroacoustic music with unconventional sound sources—such as bacteria-based sound synthesis, producing organic and unpredictable textures. Closely connected to her visual arts practice, her performances integrate self-programmed visuals and interactive devices built by herself.
On the other hand, Cazzida Dot delves into harder, high-energy genres like Rave/Club, Nu Metal, Hard Techno, and Breakcore, where her expertise in sound synthesis pushes rhythmic and textural boundaries, creating raw, visceral sonic experiences.
Cabrera López has performed at renowned festivals and venues worldwide, including Mutek (Canada, Spain, Argentina), Sonic Matter (Switzerland), IKLECTIK (UK), Tallinn Music Week (TMW) (Estonia), Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival (HCMF) (UK), and Medialab Prado (Spain), among others. While her music has been released on various labels across Latin America and Europe, she now primarily publishes through Fragment A, the label she founded and co-directs with Nico Lettieri (aka P^KNT€).
